While we are on a Blade forum.. any suggestion of well known online store to get bugs from and micron 1, etc..

there's plenty of places. But cannot name any specifics, because it is considered deal spotting.

I dont have the altoids smalls can to prove it but im pretty sure that the SOG micron will fit in it. Its so thin that it leaves more space for whatever else you want in your kit. You can overcome a bit of the issue with a short handle by running a little 550 cord through the lanyard, and wrapping it around your pinky finger to give a bit more to hold onto while your using it.

It worked perfectly.. i bought both and love em both!

The flatness of the SOG is incredible..
Both are insane/overkill striker for a firerod

The 3/16 is going in the kit so far!

Their site says it "holds standard mini utility blades." I've never knowingly seen a "mini utility blade." Can you get bimetal "standard mini utility blades?"

I would go with a scalpel blade and a chopped handle. Or the utility blade. If I was to get a knife, I would take the blade out of a SwissCard: http://www.swissarmy.com/multitools/Pages/Category.aspx?category=swisscard You can find them on the 'bay or elsewhere much cheaper. The hacksaw blade is also a decent option.

Its crazy, and i have a proper regular survival tin kit.. but want to create a very small fire starting kit that will fit the "Altoids Smalls" for my own entertainment while the stupid canadian snow melt!

I'll put a small firesteel, off course, and a super small but hopfully good knife. The point of my question is.. what would be the best super small knife (folder prorably) that would actually fit inside that little tin ?

Any suggestion are welcome and thank you for your time

The Gerber gdc zip knife works but not well I need a cheap Canadian resource
