I agree with Danny, I bought mine because it is cool. Won't chop as well as a Khukuri the same weight but longer, and not a fighting knife per se. However, I believe it would be a deterrent, as would be a khuk, should the situation arise and firearms not needed or available. "My oh my! Look at the size of that knife.":D :) :cool:
