Am I qualified to host a forum on khukuris, kamis, Gurkhas and Nepal?

If the people that critique Bill's knowledge do so while spelling kukri/khukri...khukuri, and pronounce it with three syllables,I trust Bill's question will be most eloquently and succinctly answered.

Stay safe and all the best, Phil <---<

OK, Ghostsix, you got me. I know IFR (I follow roads) and IFRR (I follow railroads) but What is IMC?

By the way guys, when I mention a non Nepalese made bent blade knife, I spell it kukri. When I mention an HI Khukuri I spell it Khukuri. That is my distinction.

Of course my little baby calls them all Kookie.

Not a bad idea, Cobalt. For proper spelling both in English and Devanagari see cigarette packs.

Well Cobalt, I too hear the word kooky bandied about when I’m using my knives.

I wonder, do you really think they’re talking about the blades?

Here was my rule. When the sky was the same color as my Airman's Id card I could fly. When it wasn't it meant stay on the ground. My motto was: Time to spare, go by air.

Bill: --- For your claiming to be not an expert on anything, you sure do one heck of a good job here . If i'm not mistaken, you answer every post & reply, and I always learn something very interesting. Just wish I could retain everything in memory. And again, all of you guys & gals have great things to say in this forum. I'm just trying to keep up on it all.

David, do yourself a favor and get a khukuri from Bill when you can. These knives are blessed in Gurkha blood and are extremely strong.

Thanks, Jay, for kind words.

And, ghostsix, just in case you lost your old Airman's ID card -- it was blue. I still have mine but pix fell off years ago. No lamination at that time.
