• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Am I the only one?

Shearwater,

I'm about 20 minutes or so from Starlight. Really just up the road! Glad you enjoyed it; it's heaven on earth here IMO. :D

Huber Orchard was the name of the winery/farm market/... great place to take kids. Small world. That country looked like heaven to me too. I remember taking pictures of the churches in St. Johns and St. Josephs if I'm remembering right, and showing them to friends and thinking they were just like something from a postcard.

I spent a fair amount of time in the Hoosier National Forest in Brown County also.

A summer evening in Indiana...makes me jealous :)

I'm a big kid so knives are kinda like GI Joes or Star Wars guys. Sure you only need one Stormtrooper but big battles are more fun when you got 20 of them.

Wait what were we talking about?

I manage to keep my collection of fixed blades at a somewhat sane level. Usually if I buy a knife and then never use it I'll sell it off no matter how cool it is. I've gotten rid of a lot of knives that I have bought and made myself in search of "The One". I've been happy to pass them on to happy new owners.

My problem is that I'm rarely satisfied with the handles or sheathes on production knives.
