I have dropped G10 handled folders on the pavement several times and not had so much as a chip. Never heard of a problem wit G10 shattering.I like metal handles because I don't like my knives cracking when they get dropped.
Or melt when they get hot.
Or get deep cuts from keys.
Or bending.
But hey, like what you like.
But wood handles are good, but they swell and warp when wet.
I like G10, but it shatters when dropped.
And I plain and simply don't like carbon fiber.
Me too... Liner or back locks, non-metallic scales, tip-up option, wave or/and thumbstud or disk,Dont like metal handled knives either. But to answer your first question yes you are.Originally Posted by ron finkbeiner jr V

ooh! You're going to like CF. Smooth yet grippy.
A very nice folder, btw.

If you need to ask people if you are weird then yes, you are probably one weird cat.
