I WISH I had my camera with me. I am gonna go back and try to find the thing I just cut with my Fox River. This is a story of scary sharp! Did you know that the Fox River is better than an insect swatter? I was outdoors, and had the knife in my hand, when a bee came up near me. I finally got annoyed and flicked my hand with the Fox River at the bee. I heard and felt a little tap, and then was AMAZED -- the bee was sliced in half in the air and both halves went falling to the ground.

Wow. Just Wow. :thumbup::thumbup::cool:

Was it the same day you caught that shark with your bare hands and later got abducted by aliens? :P

Just kidding. I think your knives are sharp enough :)

It was a freak thing. I wasn't even trying to cut it...LOL.

Besides, isn't the grasshopper test catching a bug with your chopsticks?

I gotta go back out and find the bee halves and take a picture of this. I know I flailed at it like a little girl, so it probably looked very unimpressive, and I couldn't do this if I tried...LOL.

Bark River.

A sharp knife that's a good useful size, blade satin, easy to sharpen with a nice thin ege. Comes with a sheath. Good ergonomic handle. Almost any handle choice you wanted.

You'd think MOST knives would be like BRKT but they aren't.:rolleyes:

I have been handling knives for over 57 years and honestly, never knew what a really sharp knife was until I got my first Bark River. That was over 30 some Bark River knives ago. Mike Stewart should put a caution on the boxes, Extremely Sharp.

Yes, Bear. You do. You will be amazed. Seriously.

I suck at fuzz sticks, but I can kill a bee with one flick of a Bark. :D

Good story. I've been eying the fox river and mini northstar for a long time, but the gunny has definitely got my attention.

This is fast: (A Bruce Lee story from Black Belt magazine)

"Sometimes, when kids would come around the Black Belt office, they didn't know who Bruce was. Bruce would say to the kid "Do you want this dime?" And the kid would say "I don't mind having a dime." So Bruce would put the dime in the palm of the kid's hand, and he told the kid that if he couldn't grab the dime before the youngster closed his hand, the kid could keep it. Then Bruce would move his hand toward the kid's palm, and the kid would close his hand, get excited and say "l got it!"

Then Bruce would tell him to open his hand. And the kid would find a penny. Bruce could swap the dime for a penny that quick. That was his favorite trick with the kids. I never saw a kid beat him at that."
