I am assuming it now Chu. Who the hell starts a thread like this as a 'new' member?? Put new in quotes because I'm smelling a returning troll.
The problem most of us have with this garbage is it is not original.
I'm a Kizer and WE fan.......why??? Original and collaborative designs that are very well made for fair prices.

I think the issue is some patriots just cannot stand and would not try to believe chinese can produce high quality products with lower cost.
Let's face it, even Trump buys Chinese steel to build Trump building. Ostrich syndrome is one factor that our country is not great anymore. Realize it, face it, work harder and stop complaining about Chinese.
People in states are getting so lazy nowadays and only thing we are not forgetting to do is to blame all issues to Chinese and Russians.

Although it has been voiced already, here's another member that appreciates high quality Chinese products. Russian products too as it happens, it's my second language. I suppose you could even argue the budget lines of many makers I like, that are produced in China, are also Chinese knives, just with American backing. Love em. I'm also not particularly patriotic... just ethical. ;)

Those knives aren't illegal. There's nothing to sue over. They're just generic copies, and poor ones at that. What's there to get mad about? Unless the Axis Lock patent was extended which is possible.

Other than that they're a piss poor substitute where something from a better knife company could've been had for the same price.

Dimitar is next. Peace in the valley. Back to talking about real knives.

Guess you missed the above. Peace in the valley.....

So if the knives in the OP shouldn't be talked about why isn't the thread locked? I didn't advocate for them. I actually called them "piss poor substitutes." Answering a question as to why no lawsuit is in court isn't really doing anything other than stating facts.

I don't know about the specific knives pictured in the OP, but many of the Ganzo copies as good quality as any knife you will get for your $20 (could even be extended to $30, $40...) The vast majority of those $20-30 knives sold by US companies were outsourced to Chinese or Taiwanese manufacturers in the first place.

Yeah, maybe they're pulling higher quality than their counterparts at the same price range. I don't know and won't because I can find good quality knives for that price without needing to resort to a generic version. Knives aren't medicine or some other thing where lives depend on them alone.

I've seen some really stupid cheap knives that have decent enough quality for the price and don't try to pretend to be something else. I'd rather have one of those than the knives in the OP.

It's not like the only options are over $300 and these guys come along with obvious budget generics to fill a void for people who don't make much money. There are a lot of decent knives in that $20-$50 price range.

Nope. Not taking the bait. Happy New Year all!

We aren't lawyers, we don't know what goes on behind closed doors. We do know when newbies come on too strong, and end up shilling or just plain trolling.

We don't need strawman arguments about cheap counterfeits from people who haven't been here long enough to have read the arguments we've already had. We definitely don't need trolling from people who have been here long enough to know better than to stir up the old arguments again.

There should be a rule that whatever thread that's been left behind by someone who's been banned, should be closed.
