Bad Amazon customer reviews removal of "comments" !

Thousands of members on this forum. I doubt you know what most of them think on any particular subject.

Whatever. Not sure why you think anybody cares to hear your thoughts on Amazon's business practices.
Thanks so very much for your kind and useful thoughts .

So I did read this a bit further because that's what I do. The reviews from the buyers are still active. The comments were from the sellers responding to the reviews.

If someone gave a one star review the seller could post in the clear to show they wanted to know more. Now sellers can't respond directly on the page for all to see.

If this disadvantages anyone I would presume it would be the sellers.
It's a disadvantage to anyone trying to sort out the truth of what is the best product .

Also the comments used to contain all kinds of useful information on best use , maintaining , fixing potential problems , better alternative products , etc .

Good stuff ...gone .

Yeah I guess so. I tend know what I want when I order there so I find the critical points are price, shipping time and who has it in stock.

Tangential but relevant of a cancer culture requiring counter measures like Fakespot. A couple months ago went looking for a book at the big river, did not find what I was looking for, but did find other books of the same type. I made a note to check those new to me titles out. Went back using the same exact search string and all those books had been removed, purged, gone. So happy when, over and over again folks offer to be my mom, O wait I'm over 18...

Or they, like, sold out.

:p Best case scenario , and hopefully yes .

I haven't noticed too many things that Amazon won't sell , except the kinds of knives that can't be legally shipped to some locales .

I don't know about literature censorship on Amazon , and anyway , it's not knife related or relevant directly to OP .
