Is the pommel purely decorative, or is it screwed/attached to the hidden tang? Just curious. I'm working on a hidden tang knife and have an idea for a pommel, but no way to attach it to the tang.

By the way - great looking sheath too. Where did you get your leather?

Mr2 blue, Im glad you are happy. Thanks for the I trader point also.

mtodriscoll, With stag, in time it will shrink so unless there is a finial nut to take up slack the pommel should not be attached to the tang. It has a sex screw soldered on it and JB welded in place forever. It also covered up the stag butt pith. Thanks for asking.
