amboyna burl kitchen set with matching block

i cant believe this have not sold yet they look great

and that block is killer

one thing i have found is kitchen knives can be hit or miss in sales
my house set is from a set that just didnt sell and i was not lowering it any more (i love useing them now tho)
 
Well, I just got a reality check from someone I respect. I will no longer be doing price drops on anything I sell. This is a business, I need to charge fairly, which includes paying myself fairly. If it takes a year to sell something, then it takes a year. After figuring out materials, consumables, and other costs + adding some for labor, this set is now up for sale for $695.00+shipping. This thread will no longer be bumped up, if they don't sell here they will remain on my website or go to a reseller until they do.

I don't mean to sound self-righteous, but to keep operating as a business and not a hobby, my pricing has to reflect the level of work and time that goes into a piece. I'm sorry if anyone is put off, that is not my intention, but I've learned a lesson here that will hopefully allow me to continue on in the future.

Don't beat yourself up, it's a fine set, it just requires an extremely specific buyer and you've yet to find one. Somebody will find it and need to have it, give it time.
 
That block is absolutely beautiful..... the knives aren't bad either ;)

Wish I had the coin and a kitchen nice enough for these bad boys to reside in. :thumbup:
 
You will get your asking price or more. Just takes patience for that right buyer to come by. The wood is cool.
