American classic traditional pairings

My beloved and well worn Ruger that ive carried for over half my life,with my early Western Hunter....I take great pride in these well worn and proven tools....theyve both put a lot of meat on the table............FES

You guys are making me want to take some pictures of my Marlin lever guns too. I have three: 1894 in .357/.38, 1895 in .45-70 Govt. and a 336 in .30-30.

Whoever took it, it is a stunningly beautiful photograph!

So many things to like about this picture. It just all comes together so well.

One question. It looks like the Ruger has only one side of the grip attached. Was the right side removed for the photo, or is it an optical illusion?
 
Great iconic pistol and knives! I love my 45 colt vaquero but never had a 110. Great picture Ben!
 
Thanks Farmkid, that little gun is a pea shooter compared to a 45. My grandad made everyone carry .22 mags so they wouldn't destroy the mountain hide. No one ever got eaten so I guess it was enough.
 
Makes Sense. My papaw has a 22 mag super single and it's a great gun. We have no lions but a bunch of bears. They have been in our corn fields and wallowed a bunch of corn down.
