In this crazy world with so many untrustworthy con artists, it's a real pleasure to do business with Joe. This was my first order, but it won't be my last.
I'd posted a message 2 days ago in a thread that I really wanted a Benchmade 705 Forum Knife, more or less touch in cheek. I missed out on these back in Nov/Dec and only 100 were made. Ever since I bought my first 705 2½ years ago, I've wanted a "dressed up" version. The Forum Knife was EXACTLY what I wanted and I'd missed it. All were sold almost as fast as they were ready to ship, so I had no realistic hope of finding one.
The day after my post, I found email Joe had taken the time to send me and offered to sell me one of his. I won't say for how much, but I was shocked! This was like Christmas in April! Sure, it's his business. But how many folks would take the time he did?
Not only did he let me pick which of the two numbered copies I wanted, he also had one of two other knives I was looking for and said he expected to have the second one in stock in a week. I decided to buy all three. He said up front when it would ship and that he'd email a tracking number. Well, he's delivered exactly as he said, shipping them the day he said he would, and emailing the tracking # just as quick. I haven't gotten the knives yet, but I'd be real shocked if they aren't exactly as described.
I hope everyone will at least give American Heritage Sports (aka HERITAGE) an opportunity to do business with them.
Joe, I hope you're making enough money to stay in business. I'd hate lose you as a source for my, uh, fixes.
OUTSTANDING!
UPDATE: The knife was just delivered, 2 days after Joe shipped it. No need to be shocked, either. It was exactly as described.
