No before you ask, I don't know of a primitive man found on Pleiades either.
 
Now I'm going to have to hit the Schurz and Yerington reservations and track down a friend to ask about the Northern Paiute legends. And the first two friends I can think of to ask are Baptist and Seventh Day Adventist. AAARGH!!!

I can probably find out about the legends when I buy tobacco. The Paiutes have the tobacco stores on reservations here and offer good deals to smokers.
