American knife July

H-n-s, enjoy your patriotism celebrate it anyway you like. I was just curious was all.

Happy pending Fourth of July everyone.
Nothing wrong with being curious, and I should've been more clear in my original post.
I guess I thought some would actually remember last year's thread.

I have no knives with any patriotic or flag themed knives in my accumulation, I may have to get at least one.
I've only one I've got is a flea market cheapo with a flag and eagle that I was given as a kid, but it's junk.

I've wanted the eagle/flag Buck Gent for a while so I may have to look into it.

Here's a different picture I had of the knife I chose for today.

Been wanting a Don't Tread on Me Vic Tinker, but of course that is not US made.

My only US made knife that is in my pocket at the moment is a Case Peanut.

Section 8 subpart of the US Flag Code:
E. The flag should never be fastened, displayed, used, or stored in such a manner as to permit it to be easily torn, soiled, or damaged in any way.
It's just a handkerchief, we're it actually a flag things would be different.

"The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard. Advertising signs should not be fastened to a staff or halyard from which the flag is flown."

So, no. By your argument US Flag toilet paper would be fine.

I only ever carry a couple of Benchmades, PM2s, and GEC slippies nowadays....all made in the US!

Neat stuff, but I'm not sure what the US Flag Code says about using the flag as a tablecloth to put your stuff on.

Especially on Independence Day, you might want to look that up.
Let's see.... people burn our flag and don't go to jail. Don't think this is much of a big deal regardless.

Sir, the pics you have put up of the American flag should be taken down ! They are offensive and violate U.S. law .

It's not just a handkerchief. That is our flag. If you truly care about your patriotism enough to start a thread like this you might want to give a little more thought to the flag.

Just because other people do something wrong, it does not justify treating our flag without the respect it deserves, especially considering the supposed intent of this thread.

I will be carrying American knives tomorrow, like most days. Here is what I have today:
