American knife July

I have a flag outside my house 365 days of the year. Just remember there is a difference between LAW and some ethics code. And yes, some people get upset about misuse of the flag and I'm one of them. But there is little I can do about it personally.

I think this will do for a carry knife for the next few days!!

Please post more pics to keep this thread interesting and in the Spirit of Freedom from British Rule, Happy Independence month.

Just wanted to add h-n-s, this isn’t an attack on you I don’t know you that well so it’s an attempt to understand the logic behind the thread and what you were expecting back.

I’m not sure if you just wanna show your stuff or are you encouraging others to do the same or are you asking for patriotic knife pics.

Inquiring minds wanna know(... and girls just wanna have fun!) ;) :)

I was going to say . . . a bit harsh there old bean.
Good points though.
Hahahah I had an awkward moment yesterday . . . one of the most fun and enjoyable and challenging customers I've had in quite a while was saying good bye / cheers and wished me a "Happy Holiday". (awkward because he was from The UK and wishing me a happy time celebrating freedom from his native government).

Mostly I carry a Case Trapper and or one of my Para 2s so without trying the USA will, most likely, be well represented during July. I warn you though my Cold Steel Ti Lite (flat ground) will surely make an appearance a time or two . . . it's going to happen.
I don't even know where that evil but wonderful beast is made ? ? ? ?
I reground the hell out of it in my shop so we will call it "Finished in the USA".

Besides, from my avatar you can see I've kind of moved on to whole planet awareness as my daily "thing". I may not actually be from around here but I care about your poor little insignificant planet. :p :D

by the way the travel brochure lists Earth this way :
Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the Galaxy . . . utterly insignificant little blue green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea.”

I must say, I'm rather fond of Earth, though I wouldn't like anyone outside this planet to hear me saying that. Oh dear no.

I had no idea that a handkerchief laying on a piece of plywood would upset anyone, but I apologise if I did.
I never really thought of it the same way I do an actual flag that goes on a flagpole, but maybe I should.

Like I do each year, I'm going to carry an American made knife every day this July.

The BSA Case 6208 will be on me everyday this month, and I'll rotate through the rest of my American made users.

And as always if theres something that's always on you like say a Vic classic on your keys...ect , it's fine as long as you make sure your primary is an American made knife.

Btw you also gotta make sure you don't burn your house down or end up in the ER on the 4th :D
An admirable tradition. Happy Independence Day!

Hmm... Mine just says, "mostly harmless".

Neat stuff, but I'm not sure what the US Flag Code says about using the flag as a tablecloth to put your stuff on.

Especially on Independence Day, you might want to look that up.
I want to hear the legislation on use in women's clothing; that would make for some humorous reading.

What makes America different and 4 July meaningful to me is the FREEDOM to do as I desire , short of hurting or trespassing upon others .

The freedom to worship , to keep and bear arms and to decide for myself how to honor the flag and the fallen .:thumbsup::thumbsup:

That's the edited version.
Prefect is a personal friend of mine so I got to see the original text in a bar one night out near Barnard's Star before he submitted it.
Those editors . . . a bunch of mindless jerks who'll be the first against the wall when the revolution comes.

Let's see.... people burn our flag and don't go to jail. Don't think this is much of a big deal regardless.

In 1989 burning our flag in protest was ruled constitutional under the 1st amendment.

To.me, personally, an Old Glory snot rag is far more offensive. Of course YMMV.

More on topic, Tommorow I will.be carrying a Spyderco Military. Not out of any sense of patriotism, but because it is what I carry everyday.

I am the lucky owner of this beauty from House of Blades - I won this beautiful Kershaw Link, model 1776, from a House of Blades Instagram contest, and the anodize/etch was done by the talented and very fast running (inside joke) Matt.

I carry it every Independence day, and will until my demise.

Technically I do to with my leatherman Fuse that's always on my hip, but I don't think of it as a knife.
More often than not I've put an American made knife in my pocket and or on my belt for cutting tool/s of the week, but for July I like to really make a point of doing so every single day.

Some days ya just can't win for losing as the saying goes.
Americans can carry a knife from any country of origin they want, remember it's
Independence Day.

You're gonna stand there and tell me you don't have no whistling bungholes, no spleen spliters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker donts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistling kitty chaser?
No... because snakes and sparklers are the only ones I like. ;)
