American red scale thread!

Guys...the knives you have shown here are such fantastic examples..thank you, I would like to show you this beauty, I was very lucky to buy some knives of one of the great guys here..this knife was amongst those.
This knife and I share the same birth year...made in good ol' '64, the Bone on this great knife is just awesome, so is the knife....such good condition for its age( hey!...just like me :o...well ok..you got me on that one )..

Very interesting Schrade, never seen anything like this before, it has a particularly good colour :thumbup:

Schatt&Morgan's XVII series from 2007 came in a very desirable Redbone. I have the Horticultural knife, a Jack with unusual Clip and Sheepfoot, but I have neither camera nor abilities...:o

Herman certainly knows how to get with the program.

This has been posted elsewhere but figured I should add it here since it follows the theme.

Beautiful knives, incredible pics. But my favorite of all is thawks' red dog. When I was much younger, I knew a few Irish Setters---all great dogs. Don't see many these days, at least around here (central Texas) and I'm not sure why.

Here either Andrew, as this is an old picture. I rarely see them any more. This was Rhett, one of 11 out of a litter we had in 1969. He was a go getter. We got his mother when I was 6 or 7 years old, and we always had an Irish Setter when I was growing up. The mom was a great quail dog, Rhett was a good rabbit chaser and a great friend.
