American Tomahawk purchase...

I got all excited when I heard the $65 price being thrown around but $99 is about as cheap as I can find them online. Even on eBay.

Anyone able to link to a cheaper source?

cheapest i've ever seen them was 90 on ebay with the shipping included. i suppose every so often a good deal comes around.

May I suggest http://www.debritos.com
I bought mine and many other pieces for significantly under not only MSRP; but quite usually, under what the current market will bear. I don't really know how Kirk stays in business. I just recently bought a black RUKUS and a double-edged Triple Action from him for a total of $232.00. Most places I've seen, you might get a Black RUKUS for that price, but another $100.00(?) knife as well?????
Back to the original line - my VTAC has no visible surface marring that I can see. It does come with a very versatile sheath and as advertised - it's almost more invulnerable than Superman. Whether you're looking for a weapon or a tool, you may be able to find better (everyone has opinions) but you'll never be dissapointed with it's use.

Enjoy.
Oh, tell Kirk that Erik Olson sent you and he might take off a little more from the price. It's not on the regular inventory, but call and ask him and he can get it for you.

Just to clarify here folks, the surface pitting on the VTAC has been MY experience and has been reported by others in the past. This has not deterred me from owning any ATC product. In fact, with all this talk of low prices, I may get a couple more VTACs for the coming season. You can't beat these toms, even at full price. Good luck.

I have just heard that they were the toughest on the market... I am going to be buying one here before too long... Can you order them off the ATC company website? I might just do that if i am guaranteed to get one that isnt pitted or fucked up. I want a good tomahawk, and i hear that ATC are the best so here i go!!!!!!!

What do most of you guys carry or use your ATC's for? Anyone carry one in their car for immediate use or deployment whether it be for SD or other tasks involved in your line of work...

Go ahead and get the ATC VTAC. Sure, it's not the prettiest with plastic handle and pits left over from forging.

My guess is that you want/need it for the same reason I got mine. It's a durable, hardworking tool. My VTAC lived with my during my Iraq deployment, and it will be with me when I head out to Afgan this winter.

Army? Marines? HOOOOAH!!!!!!!!

Got an email from Mr. Pisco today and I am pumped about getting one of the best hawks out there!!!!

If you guys ever have questions, comments, or concerns about American Tomahawk products, give Andy Prisco an email or phone call. He has always made himself available for his cutomers and stands behind his producs 100%.

The first ATC hawk I had, I broke while practicing putting the spike end through an old kevelar helmet. When I called the company to see about a replacement, the receptionist told me to "hold on a sec for Andy." Andy and I dicsussed how I'd broken that hawk, some improvments that had been made since it was made and upcomming projects.

You can't beat ATC for customer service.

Buy from the Master himself... Thats what I am doing.... But I am weird like that.. I like getting a persons product DIRECTLY from where it was made... But thats just me... buy from ATC!:)

Just received my VTAC and I am pretty satisfied with it. I can't wait to use on someone.

J/K.................. I think this is one of the best Tomahawks out there!

One more question, are these things supposed to come in a box or some kind of packaging from the manufacturer? I just received mine inside a ups box and thats it.
