Your old, gray veterans salute you!

You have earned -- the Red Badge of Courage. :D

Sending up smoke from Virginia for your poor, tender fingers!!

:eek::eek: Wow, sorry to hear about your lovely fingers getting sliced up... I hope that you heal very quickly and with minimal pain & no scarring... The right hand??? Ouch... :(

"Fear It" is RIGHT!! ...And since I'm awaiting my SS LE's, I'm aftraid to ask... :foot: ... Hope ya heal soon, and TAKE CARE OF THOSE FINGERS, please!!!

Yup............#27 ...................YOU OWE ME MANY A DRINKS AT BLADE :):)

LoL Jaxx....when you get your blades.....Just remember "Fear Them" they bite:):)

but I do have a question...they did not stitch them...I asked all kinda questions but they "glue " them now:confused::confused:

I seldom cut myself, but the last cut I received was from my FBM SE. I raised a nice 1/2" flap of skin on my knuckle. I wasn't in the mood for an ER, so I just slapped some Superglue on it and held it closed for a while. Worked like a charm. I have a slight scar there, but no more than stitches would have left.

Amy-0, you bleed black and gold! Way to take one for the HOGs! Hope it heals PDQ!

:(:(:( O crap... Looks like I owe her that drink... #27 SSLE was the culprit that bit her!!
...Damn, I'm very sorry that it was mine that got you, Amy!! :o Next time I see you, drinks are on me... All the Coors Light & Cosmos you can handle. Well... I guess I know which of the few I ordered will be my USER... But ya didn't have to clean it off, NOW how am I gonna CLONE YOU???
...And BTW, bleeding & still not leaving your post, i.e. answering the phones, WOW... You are AMAZING!! Please take it easy on those fingers though... Let 'em heal before going above & beyond the call of duty again, cool???

:o

Jerry should make an infi "purple" heart for you!

Even when wounded you didn't quit fighting... I mean working!

You are a true INFI hero!

Stay safe and heal quickly.

I'm surprised it wasn't one of those Badgers.

I hear they have a nasty disposition.

So put some Robitussin on it.

Get some down around the bone. :D :D

Heal quickly Amy-0.

Amy,

I took my wife to the emergency room this past spring for a freak accident in the kitchen........she was slicing potatoes on a "mandolin" (manual vegetable slicer you rake the veggie across the blade - as seen on TV). She was using the safety device that came with it, but somehow her finger got down below the edge and she shaved off about an eighth inch or more from the tip of her finger - GONE......it would NOT stop bleeding....they talked about cauterizing the end of her finger, which would require an injection through the wound....she about passed out from that discussion :barf:. They put some special solution on it and sent her home. About three months before it finally healed and she still has sensitivity in the end of her finger:eek:

I can VERIFY that Amy-0 DID answer the phone whilst bleeding all over the place. She even answered a few non-essential questions for me........

When I found out she was bleeding, etc, I told her to go get it taken care of!

Talk about "above and beyond" when it comes to customer service !!!!

AMY-O ROCKS !

.

Ouch! Get well soon Amy. :)

I would have fainted, even if it was just looking at you bleeding. :p

but I do have a question...they did not stitch them...I asked all kinda questions but they "glue " them now:confused::confused: It was a very deep cut in the one finger

Amy-0

Yeah, actually my CRKT M16 bit me bad a few weekends ago, went in thinking I needed some definite stitches, but they used this new stuff I think called "Dermabond"... short story, I could still swim and it healed up really quick.

Amy,
IIRC, superglue is also much less likely to leave scars versus stitches.

I'm glad to hear you are ok. And to Kendra,

YOU ROCK!!! Thanks for taking care of Amy.
