Great photos Rob. A question for you - I live just inland from you in the South Burnett. Have you had any rust problems in our sub-tropicial climate once it was stripped?

None at all mate. Just keep them dry and clean and you'll have no dramas. Sometimes I squirt a bit of WD40 on them as a precaution, but I've let most of them sit without it, and sometimes even dirty after use, for weeks and no staining has occurred.

Just my .02 but I prefer the heft of the TGHB over the LB. The LB DID have a thinner edge that worked better but my HB has been zero edged by an up and comer master sharpener ( T ) and is MUCH better now.
The weight difference isn't enough for me to not prefer the convex main grind of the HB.
Both are great and I do own both but my vote goes with the Team Gemini Heavy Brigade!!

Yes I have. I prefer the HB Not that the LB is not any good, I just like the hefty feeling of the solid tang and convex blade.
