Great pictures Rob!! We're finally getting a bit of warm weather here again and some light drizzle to accompany the morning fog :p Maybe you can teach that Gemini a rain dance to get the flood gates open :D

Just my .02 but I prefer the heft of the TGHB over the LB. The LB DID have a thinner edge that worked better but my HB has been zero edged by an up and comer master sharpener ( ;) T ) and is MUCH better now.
The weight difference isn't enough for me to not prefer the convex main grind of the HB.
Both are great and I do own both but my vote goes with the Team Gemini Heavy Brigade!!

Whether LB or HB, I love love LOVE these TG strippers....

stjones - yours looks sooo deliciously mean and hungry for wood (or cinder blocks or small buildings) with that lazer edge on it!

Thanks for your observations of LB vs HB - they make sense to me and are pretty much what I imagined. Both models seem to have their advantages, depending on what grind one prefers and how heavy duty one wants to go with using their TG.

My one complaint about my TGHB was the super thick edge, but your re-profiled edge clearly addresses that issue - I imagine mine would have ended up looking like yours by now if I still had it. These beasts are completely tank-proof with that beefy grind, and ready for some smooth cutting with that lazer sharp edge.



Mr. Stanley and Mr. Jones - this thread here has me lusting for another TGHB in my life...I'll have to get my hands on another one when life allows me. thank you :D
