An apology

Sorry to hear it trade, hope your mother is okay. It's amazing that even with everything you have had going on in your life you popped in here to clear the air for TB. This place never ceases to amaze me. I have probably joined roughly 10-12 forums before this and abandoned all of them within a couple weeks. Things like this are just as much of a reason to stay as cool knife stuff.

(cue Moose calling me a kiss ass, which I will gladly accept)

This is a very heartening thread.

Derek, your first post to me was humorous polite and understanding..something which i have never forgotten.

You set the bar for decorum here very high.

As well as that for Mustaches..:D

Sorry to hear that trade. Chin up man. Smoke sent. Derek and thrill its time for ky wrestling match.

I'd like to get in here and try to shed some light on this. Also to take full responsibility. I while back I had offered to send (anyone that wanted some) a bit of shock cord. A day or two later my mother fell and broke her hip. She nearly died in surgery, spent two weeks in ICU on a ventilator and had a very tough time in general. Was not expected to survive and it was a stressful time as you would expect. The shock cord fell through the cracks. I'm fairly private about personal issues so very few people knew what all Kay and I were going through at that time. TB reminded me that he had not recieved his shock cord yet and was wondering if it had gotten lost. He didn't know about what was going on here. I popped off in the chatroom (Inexcusable. Should not have and normally wouldn't.) that I had not recieved a thank you for it. Derek took it to heart (that's what friends do) and spoke up in my behalf. Not his fault in any way because TB did in fact thank me for it but I did not see it for several days. I neglected to mention that in the chatroom so Derek wasn't aware of it. My fault entirely. My apologies and again, I take full responsibility.
Brother, anyone would have acted up or forgotten stuff in that type of stress. I know I would. I wouldn't worry too much about us on here, you already have too much to worry about. Smoke and prayers from the thatotherguy household.

Yeah, yeah. Where's MY shock cord? :D

Well that clears up that other thread, not that it's any of my business. Glad you guys got it straightened out.

More importantly, Trade I'm very sorry to hear about your mother, I pray she's doing better. I've had a lot of that kinda stress in the past year too. I think we all understand how emotions run high going through something like that.

Trade knows I'm just screwin' with him. I was calling him every so often to see how his mama was doing. Tough bird, that one.

I've been around long enough to know that. ;)

Hope your mother is doing well tw. Prayers headed your way.

Trade, real sorry to hear about your mom. Hope she recovers quickly and returns to max comfort asap.

Also, thanks for the shock cord!

How such a resilient woman raised such a tenderfoot, I'll never figure.

Trade sorry to hear about your mom if you and kay need anything i am a phone call and a drive away mine and my familys prayers are with your family later brother
