An argument against redacting prices of sold knives

Not sure what "good reason" there is for others to complain about. It's simply not other folks business. No one is entitled to anything.....wait, we are living in modern America - so maybe they are.
:barf:

Exactly. This absurd sense of entitlement baffles me.

People are apparently REQUIRED to convenience OP.

I'm arguing that people shouldn't redact their sales prices because there's no good reason to.

There are.

It's just a stupid thing to do.

It's not.

As long as the practice still continues, people will complain about it, for good reason. So get used to it!

No, it's being complained about because people like you think they know better than others what's good for them. If I were you I'd cool it on the preaching and lecturing others, it's embarrassing.

I'm not saying they do, and I'm not arguing for a rule requiring that prices be kept up. I'm arguing that people shouldn't redact their sales prices because there's no good reason to. It's just a stupid thing to do.

It's still being discussed because people are still redacting their sales prices. As long as the practice still continues, people will complain about it, for good reason. So get used to it!

Calling a common practice that most people do stupid is the stupid thing to do.

Relying on other people to price your items makes no sense and is stupid. There is no good reason for it and it can lead you to pricing the item incorrectly.

And let us not act like there are a ton of people complaining about this. Most people are not. Just a select few. If this really was a problem it would be addressed by the mods and Spark through the rules. You should take notice of what the mods have said about this above.

Apparently your opinion is a fact now

Buddy, there's plenty of reasons people may want to do it and that's THEIR choice. And until they all bow down to your "superior" way of thinking, there will still be peole refracting their prices.

Get used THAT

I'm arguing my opinion, that's the point of this thread.

I'm curious about the reasons people may want to redact the price. Could you elaborate on that? (I've discussed a couple in my post up top but it sounds like you may have more.)

Closed just like your mind.

I tried to close it but nothing happened, so I'll continue. Care to give me some of the "good reasons" for redacting sales prices, because you stated there are yet did not list them.
