An email I received

Some people may consider this OT, but let's just say it works towards the continued survival of the brotherhood between Canada and the U.S.

This is an email I received a bit ago and decided I should share with our American brothers and sisters.

Subject: A Simple Measure.

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said:

"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in ... And how many want out." Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:

1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.

One died for your soul, the other for your freedom. If you want to pass this on I think it would be appropriate, as many seem to forget BOTH of them.

The ABC coalition of America, Britain, Canada formed in W.W.2 will reform when the world goes to hell again, and as the religious wars intensify. Personally I appreciate and respect the average American and see them as decent people. However, at the same time I sometimes worry about and fear some U.S. presidents and or special interest groups. I try not to mix the grass roots people with some of their leaders that pop up now and then. I also trust the Americans to clean their own house if and when needed. They have done it before and will again.
