An example of Flow

Sorry to say, but that's a waste of nice damascus.

Kind regards,

Jos

I like Carrillo's work. Always have been a fan of his overbuilt folders. Having had a chance to handle a few , they feel really nice in the hand.

What is the clip made of on that one ?

It's interesting, and I can understand the appeal. But with the clashing textures and multiple odd angles, I'd consider it the opposite of "flowing." ;)

Iv got a couple of Dwaines knives and I like them but I dont think "flow" is a word Id use. :p
Chunky, beast, masive and expensive are better words :D

I see it. Chunky massiveness is not necessarily contrary to 'flow'. It is a very crescent shaped knife when opened, and the blocks of contrasting color do correspond to other of the lines created by the profile of the blade, among others. When closed there is no flow going on whatsoever, that I can see.
I don't like the knife, but it is apparently designed with flowing lines, despite its geometric shape.

I'm with Lorien. Except I like the knife too!

Dwaine makes a solid folder, and the damascus adds a stylish touch to his typically inorganic, techno designs.

abstract..............eeeh maybe retro eeeeh maybe, modern and techno looking deffinitly, flowing NO.....

just my opp.

I don't consider it flowing either, but maybe hes refering to the shape of the lines on the blade. They seem to match the handle as if it were an extention. The weird geometric lines present on the handle are also on the blade.

Is this a test? Like one of those pictures made up of thousands of dots and when you stare at it long enough you finally see a picture?

It was an experiment of sorts, but you could stare at this one for days and it still wouldn't resemble a knife.
