And my wife broke the tip - Repair Pics

For the record.
From Spyderco's website:

For the following repairs please include $20.00USD plus $5.00USD for shipping and handling

Blade or edge- Broken tip from prying or dropping, chipped edge or broken serrations, destroyed edge due to improper sharpening, rust due to neglect or other blade issues. Spyderco does not replace blades. Depending on the blade’s condition we may be able to re-profile or re-serrate.

Thats not a bad deal either.

I am glad your wife is ok. Second, I would get her a knife of her own to use. I have plenty of knives lying around that my wife would always grab them to do some chore, these "chores" always left my blades dull and dirty. I finally gave her a knife as an anniversary present that she now uses.

I've messaged CharlieMike and am gonna take him up on his offer, I appreciate his offer to do the work and Blues offer to cover shipping. I'll take care of shipping but what I do want is suggestions on the grind. As long as the tip of the spine falls below the scales when closed I'm open to suggestions. The community came together to make this repair happen, I want the community to decide on the final product.

Let's hear it !

I do like ourgon's rendition quite a bit but part of me wants to just let CM do his magic and see what you end up with.

Helluva nice offer by the way, CM & Blues.

I'd vote for a fixer's surprise. Let CM decide what to do with it.

Maybe a small swedge. I think it could look pretty sweet.

Kind of like the hinderer wharnie.
