And still no one cares...

Not cooking sasquatch, cooking with sasquatch! Now that’d be impressive! Lol

It was an M-tech! KNEW IT!:D

Noooooooooo!!!
Although I AM strangely fond of the gas station karambit my brother bought me. ;)
Can't really bring myself to carry it around though.

Ganzo + Tacforce collab? :p

In all seriousness, nice for knife usage to be seen as pedestrian vs a "think of the children" news item...

Haven't been posting much lately; new job with lots of hours.

Had to buy new boring things for it, like a smaller bag to carry stuff in that would fit in the unbelievably tiny lockers they provide (like really, really tiny...even smaller than you are picturing now).

So where does the knife content come it?
Well, had to pick up mail (a package) on the way to work, and the box the stuff came in was way too big to fit in the tiny lockers, even with nothing else in it, so a knife was required to open it up and dispose of the packaging. This was done in a McDonald's, around lunchtime, and the place was packed with teenagers from the nearby high school on their lunch.

And no one cared about a knife being used, despite being in plain view, in a public place, because it was being used for something. :)

This has been your daily public service announcement regarding the internet rumours about hordes of "sheeple." If you are receiving negative knife attention, it may not be about the knife; it may be about you. :D

Great idea for discussion.
I ve long said that using a knife to cut things in public has never seemed to bother anyone around me. Maybe I don t notice (or care), but I don't think it s a big deal, so people around me don t either.
I ve always thought that concerned reactions to a person using a pocket knife were more about the user than the knife. And I used to alternate edc s between an Endura and a Military, so the size apparently wasn t an issue.

I've been finding small knives useful for just regular everyday things and picked this one up recently. I like big knives too but this one works just fine.

Me too. Change is hard sometimes as we get into a rut and not consider other options as being just as useful for our individual needs.

Me, I'm still hoping to run into a Sasquatch at some point. Who's for giving knives to Sasquatch's?

All depends, as everyone knows....sit on a park bench in Macon, GA whittling on a stick, vs sitting on a bench in Times Square or in the Bronx, and see which one draws attention. NYC law states knives MUST be completely concealed. Brandishing one in public will get you all the attention your heart desires.

That be true for the most part. It is a sad reflection on our society these days. What if you need to cut something sitting in Times Square? Brandishing is usually a term applied to weapons as I understand it. My knives are tools..... I guess until the wrong person sees it.

I used mine in Times Square it was a non-issue, I have my illegal auto in my pocket right now and again no one is the slightest bit worried

Oh, it is a LOT better than that, in NYC....any knife which can somehow be flicked open by a well practiced cop's hand and maybe pivot loosened a bit, even only 2 out of 10 times, is also a felony possession of a "gravity knife" as if centrifugal force is gravity. It will stand as a charge in front of a judge. IF a first time offender, likely will get off with fine, and forever arrest record...if a convicted felon, felony possession and hard time.

SO, law states completely concealed, and you as a visitor come out of the transit authority with the clip showing on the Spyderco, are immediately busted for violation of the concealed carry requirement, the cop also manages to flick open your knife, and you are arrested and must post bail. Even spotting the clip is all the warrant needed for a pat-down....much less, openly using a knife and drawing closer scrutiny.

This exact scenario has played out at least 20,000 times of record in the city. The DA even tried to go after big box stores selling any of these "illegal gravity knives", otherwise known as standard clip-on/one-handed utility knives made by near every major knife maker in the world, now.

ha...you just keep doing that...all I can say is read the post just above this....and just keep doing that, if you want...

I can rack open my Griptilian "Shlack!!!!" and cut the electric tape off a capacitor right on the counter of a local store without been noticed...

I get arrested by no less than five cops, because I was fidgeting with a practice balisong "out of view" in a park.

So I guess it`s in the eyes of the beholder....

I used my Endura 4 to cut the banding on some pickets at Lowes. The slack-jawed millennial "help" gave me the "OOOH if it ain't Crocodile Dundee!" routine.
