in right now....but takin' off soon for the indoor archery range with my girls. Gotta learn some skills before the next gathering.

I'll have to take some pics for you guys, but I have been working on a little project for my brother in law. He wanted me to modify his gladius and pugio. Basically give them a more aged and patina'd look and waxed all the wood and leather. The gladius is 5160 and is supposed to be "battle ready" and there are some really interesting temper lines on the blade. Basically at parts of the blade there are rings of deferentially tempered steel. At about the wasp waist, to the tip. Its pretty interesting looking.

W - what's the elevation rise from the road to the back of the property? You said that there was a slope up the back.

ETA: Have you got a USGS topo map of the area yet?
