And The Snark Goes On

I just have a basic camper shell on my truck, was already there when we bought it, I like it but I miss the capability to haul larger items

I thought of that as well. But I like the versatility (or should I say remove-ability) of the cover.

I thought I'd spice up my 710 sheath with another sticker. People are always asking me where I got it so...

On the opposite side there is a BeckerHead sticker.

Monday has been cancelled due to lack of interest. Go back to bed everyone

If only I could. Busy day here. New Arcteryx store opening up in Toronto. A friend of mine has the contract to build all the interiors for their boutique stores in North America. Giving him a hand this week. What's everyone else up to?

I used to have a camper shell on my old pickup. I wanted it to be easily removable when I needed to haul larger things. I took out the bolts holding it to the bed and replaced them with C-clamps. I could get it off in a few minutes. It took two guys to put it or take it off, but I could pick it up and carry it myself. I could have put it on or taken it off alone, but I would have scratched the truck up. I realize you can't use C-clamps on many trucks these days, but back then the truck beds had a different design.

I'm busy trying to persuade a Canadian friend of mine to steal a ton of Arcteryx packs/gear. In the end I'm sure he'll deny me and apologize profusely for doing so.

This one's for you, WW.

I totally made a bowl of grits last night and mixed in peanut butter and honey. It was excellent.

I was just looking at some Arcteryx hipbelts yesterday. Apparently, they designed the USMC MARPAT hipbelt. I've been trying to figure out how to put a slightly bigger hipbelt on my Camelbak Hawg.

Oh, and if we're "importing" gear from Canada, count me in. :D

LOL. We'll talk offline!

:D

Uh dude, they designed a whole pack system for the Corps.

Once everything is set up, You will have to tell me the location of said shop Guss ;)

Going back to work Monday. Kind of bittersweet. Yes, I wanna work, and yes, I need money. Going back to the same ol' shit hole is what sucks. Oh well, it is what it is.

Will do. Just waiting for the fixtures to arrive. As with any new store opening, there have been some hiccups. They had to replace the floor on the weekend. Originally planned on refinishing the original floor, but the new finish didn't take. I'll snap some pics as the place starts looking more finished.

I think you guys are on to something with this peanut butter thing. I put some on a piece of bread (that I normally only have jelly on) and it was amazing. This could be huge.
