That is the closest thing we have to rules.

Each member is assigned a random number. I ask for a number between 1 and the total number of members at the time of the drawing. Whoever matches that number wins. Pretty simple and it works for me.

No secrets, no goofy stuff just fun a free knives.

Ewok - you do NOT have to be online at the time of the drawing. Like Mike said, every BF member is assigned a random number every month. Sometime after midnight on the first day of the month, Mike or Spark will post a thread asking for a number. The first person who responds to that thread (this month it was me) chooses a number. I chose something like #1432. This month, that number corresponded to member not2sharp. He won the knife. All he had to do was claim the prize be dropping Mike a note with a mailing address. All I did was to choose the # that corresponded to him. Next month all members will be given new numbers at random...

Hope I explained that well enough.

but I must have missed something, just what did you win? I didn't see the original post and the knife isn't described above, except for an obscure reference as to a wharnecliff, which I happen to like.

I guess you don't go to the BladeForums Main title page very often.LOL The knife in question is included quite prominently in the background with the caption "Win this Knife" I too have my bookmark set to the Bladeforums subject page and have to make a point of checking the "main" page near the beginning of the month to see what new and exciting knife we have a chance to own. I guess a new knife will be posted soon.

Congrats! not2sharp you lucky guy, you. I'm still waiting my turn, I know that I will get one eventually since they have said that they will not stop 'til everyone has gotten a knife. I may have to hand it over directly to my great grandsons around 2050 AD when I get it, but that's ok.
