And This Is What Started It All - UPDATED

I remember when I found a NOS small sebbie 21 w/ the enigma pattern on a random website a couple years ago. No picture or mention of the COA, but I looked up reviews on the site and purchased it immediately.
It arrived with a birthdate the same as mine... Definitely felt like it was meant to be... I love that little knife...

I also just purchased my 1st Hinderer, xm-18 3" skinner, and it's awesome! Never got one before because the typical scale colors never really appealed to me, but again, in a knife funk, not seeing anything that really appealed to me, I stumbled across a random smaller website dealer while searching out of stock Marfione knife porn, and there it was... Green & black scales, and again, looked up reviews on the site, and purchased immediately before it sold out... No Regrets...

Enjoy 'em... and let us know what you decide to get next, lol...

HAHAHAH

and slippery slope has been slipped....

I see you dig the stockman's and trappers... enjoy 'em!
If ever you are curious about a pattern, or want to try something before spending, (esp. before diving into higher end traditionals), you can look around this site and see many will verify this, don't be afraid to pick up an inexpensive Rough Rider if you see a pattern you like or want to try. Cheap, made in China, but cost v. value, they are typically pretty well made... just food for thought.

Yeah, the stockmans & trappers have always been my favorites. I’m anxious to check out the Hen & Rooster’s from Germany to see how they compare to the Buck’s & Case’s. I’m hoping the Bear & Sons are decent pieces. ANY OF THEM that don’t stack up are going back.

Now I can completely fill my Nalpak Pelican 1300 21 slot case.

First, a belated welcome.
I’m frequently late to the party, life being what it is.

Enjoy the ride! Expect your interests and tastes to migrate over time. That’s been the theme for many members here.

Second, I assume it’s lighting, but are the tiger stripes pink? (I’m generally not a tiger stripe guy, but I’d be all over a pink & black combo.)

Cheers!

Thank you for the welcome!

You are correct, it’s a lighting issue as I don’t take the best pictures.

It’s just the normal gray/black.

I’m up so early because of a tornado that was in our area 1 1/2 hours ago. Bad news is there’s more behind it.

Haha, nope. Still not buying it. :)

But congrats on your small Sebenza, it is the perfect size EDC IMHO!

You could be correct, but I’d bet I’m done. I spent 39 days researching and trying to figure out what I might like. I don’t have any that I’d get rid of as of now.

Thanks on the Sebenza. I saved the best two for last. That knife is amazing, but the Hinderer is as well.

The incoming traditionals are the end. I just hope they make the cut, fit & finish wise. Fingers crossed.
