Andrew Demko Custom American Lawman is AWESOME!!!!!

Woah, ballsy choice of materials... and full flat grind too. Sweet. Will be looking out for that one!

Not to mess with yr head, but you might want to reconsider a 4 inch blade. The knife is quite heavy in its standard config.
Heavier than a ZT 0301? I think it might be worth the weight given that sub 3.5" blades and I don't get along very well outside of my William Henry knives. Plus you know, I more or less settled on Desert Ironwood because it's a dense and heavy wood. Should be all right though, ever since I switched from cheap Made in China leather belts over to a Maxpedition Liger Gun Belt I haven't needed to replace my belt every 2 months:thumbup:(going on 8 months and counting).

The blade on the normal one is over 3,5 inches in length. Not sure of the actual weight but its pretty heavy. ;)

I'll certainly look forward to having my pants drop down to the floor every time I need to do my business;). Funny enough that it hasn't happened given that my EDC consists of a wallet, iPhone, cutting glove, earbuds, keys, 3 folders, 2 fixed blades, and 2 flashlights(one is a slim Quark AA, the other is a custom Surefire 6P with a solid copper heatsink).

Sounds like weight is not an issue for you. :D BTW I checked and the blade length is, in fact, exactly 3,5 inches on the standard one, so my mistake. Mine has thin liners (1mm) and a Ti backspacer but it feels to me like most of the weight comes from that fat blade (mine is 4mms).

I suspect weight isn't an issue unless the blade length surpasses a certain point. There's only so much material you can cram into a given volume of space. The only thing I don't know thus far is the thickness of the blade/handles, but I suspect the blade won't weigh too much with a FFG. Still, my Buck 110 is pretty much a solid mass of steel and nickel, so I'm not sure much else would impress me at this point unless someone uses tungsten carbide as a handle material:thumbup:.
