I know I'm not the first victim as there have undoubtedly been many that have fallen before me.

Innocently, I came. Just wanted to take a peek. Wondering "what's the big deal about knives, anyway?" Then it happened...I started "seeing the light". Sure, it was just a taste at first but it's developed into true "need" to look at the latest offerings, dare I say, I'm developing a lust! Late night visits, early morning visits, sneaking a peek or three while at work, anytime I can!

I started with a simple SAK, then graduated to a SOG Twitch II, then got turned on by a BM Mini-Barage, got a ZT0350, Leatherman Squirt, ordered a BM 585, bought a Gayle Bradley, looking for a Buck Mayo, getting teased by a Mini Sebenza, WHEN WILL IT END??? I don't make enough money!!! Get a 2nd job, maybe 3, gotta buy knives!

This burgeoning addiction has happened over just the past 3 weeks!! When will it end, when will it end?? Your fault, you BladeForum people, with all those beautiful blades, your fault!!

I hope you're happy with yourselves!

Sooooo, what'r you selling today?

It never ends it only gets more expensive :)

And now that you have some knives you will need things to keep them up. Sharpening stones, torx tools, rags, cleaners, oils, compounds, belt sanders, strops, storage cases.....

:)

It could be worse :)

Start looking at the custom knife section for one.

don't do it... i fell into it accidentally and i've been tormented it ever since. don't do it if you value your wallet... i've already rationed my food to start budgeting for some of those....

I was thinking the same while reading the first post. Don't look at the Custom Knifemakers section or the Gallery section; that monkey on your back will become an 800 lb gorilla in no time. Good luck :D

Well, I don't think BladeForums is to blame. For example, by the time I first used an 'internet' as a youngster I already had a few pocketknives collected. And that was at least twenty years before BladeForums existed. :D

If you value a really good wallet, check out Gadgets & Gear and do a search for "wallet" -- we shill for some nice leather, too! :D

I just tell my loved ones that they should be thankful that I'm addicted to knives, and not crack.

You're welcome.

Welcome to the club! I have found that being a part of these forums requires a great amount of self control if I don't want to end up homeless! Some guys go to Zen monasteries to learn that. Me, I read about all the wonderful knives people are buying and using and develop my iron will by not running out and picking one up!
