Angry with BladeForum members!!

It's worse than being addicted to crack. My uncle went through rehab many years ago, and he said, just the other day, after seeing me getting goofy over my latest aquisitions, that he thinks I have a worse addiction than he did.

I told him that at least I can sell or trade these to get another or a different one. He couldn't do that with the drugs. He said, "at least there is that.";)

Welcome to the world of hiding things, making up excuses, stashing money away for a new one, etc.

Honest to God, my biggest fear is that when I die, my wife will sell all of my stuff for what I told her I paid for it.

She'll be losing out on a LOT of money. :D

As they say at the end of the AA meeting....."Keep Coming Back."

P.S. If you really like the Volt....Have you met Kershawguy online yet?

Kinda reminds me of Hotel California :p

Mirrors on the ceiling,
The pink champagne on ice
And she said 'We are all just prisoners here, of our own device'
And in the master's chambers,
They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can't kill the beast

Last thing I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
'Relax,' said the night man,
'We are programmed to receive.
You can check-out any time you like,
But you can never leave!'

It all started off with a picture of a boy scout in a local uniform store. Boy had a bowie, stacked leather handle with the shiny sheath.

My 1st ever knife was bought by my uncle. It was a rip-off Rambo 2 type but it managed to keep me running for it 1st thing after school. Friend lent it for chopping and the handle broke (hollow to store matches, fishhooks and needle ). I still keep it for sentimental values.

Years gone by i was carried away with other things until i stumbled across a curved knife called Khukuri from Resident Evil movie. Without knowing why and when i was infected with Himalayan Imports Khukuri Virus (instead of T-virus).
Hell breaks loose then. Salyan, ASTK, Gelbu, Teardrop Siru......

Just when i thought Khuk is the only knife, forumite Cotherion shown me his folder porn of Poliwog, ZT Mudd, Spydies and the recent tamahagane folder and it got me looking at flippers. Dec 10.....Hest is koming to town.

I can even smell Horton Camp2 from here.

Funny thing is i learned a whole lot more about types of metals, process, the wrongs and rights than i did back in my engineering course.
Heck i even begin to see the sense in different kinda of woods for surface finishing on handles. G10 & Micarta? stag/horn handles?
Then you have kydex and guiltily gorgeous leather sheath.

Since when BF browsing a daily routine?
Logging in = waking up with the java (Most of the time it's in the early AM)

It's been a blissful day, right? :)

When you end up making a spreadsheet to catalog your collection then its time to seek professional help.. (for several reasons) Until then enjoy the disease!

Ok, so I got bit by the blade bug about 30 days ago and, to date, have acquired the following:

Leatherman Squirt, NIB
Benchmade 635, blue, pre-owned
Benchmade Balisong 42, pre-owned
Spyderco Gayle Bradley, NIB
ZT 350, NIB
Buck Mayo, NIB
SOG Twitch, NIB

I'm now considering the small Sebenza but I might have to sell off something above:( Such a tough decision! I don't know how you guys hold up:)

Thanks again for all your help and encouragement!

I am in the same boat. Came here looking for mods for my BK2 and now I am looking at getting a Pohl Force Alpha Two to replace my Kershaw Tanto Blur.
