Aniversary mistresses 11.25 inch blade in length?

I've only held one SHBM and that was 5 1/2 years ago (Thanks Cobalt and Jerry) and it felt great! I can't wait to get one of these. Hopefully.

One?

Wish I had your willpower. :D

Original NMFBM CG/LE list prices in 2008 were $467/$797 so around $500/$800+ sounds right for the NMSHBM LB -- same blade length as NMFBM plus LB work. Unless we get special anniversary pricing. :D :D

I like my chopper blade thick and a little heavy, 1311 are way too thin so it'll be my machete. So this has got to be above or around 0.27. Now.... where do I paid:)

$467 sounds alright, a little lower will push me to get two for sure.

As Will said, balance will be key on this new Mistress. I hope Jerry is spending his time working on tweaking the balance just right. We have already had a long, fat Mistress in the NMFBM. I'm with Cobalt, the ANMLBSHBM should be no more than 0.25 - 0.27" thick, with a full height flat grind. What would be the point of the LB treatment if the blade will be thick?

I think that if busse stays within the SHBM weight of approx 22 oz with all the lightening treatments and one extra inch of blade, it would be very nice. But I still want it to be no more than 0.25-0.27.

I'm with me on wanting this around what I stated above.:D

Has anyone noticed that on the blade finishing page at bussecombat.com, It looks like they are using the NMSHBM blade for the color options. I may be wrong though. I wonder if that is a hint to what they are coming out with next?

Hmmm I dont know, Im pretty sure they've had the same pic up for quite some time. I dont think thats a NMSHBM, I could be wrong though.

OMG...I beaming a heavyweight mistress?... or concave grinding?...that´s sacrilege....and highly collectible...

you should probably just get a heavy FBM, since the SHBM will likely not be as heavy as you want.

Considering the original SHBM listed for $350, I'd guess that the CG will be about $425 and the LE about $750.

well, I will fall out of my chair if that is the case:eek::D

cause I got these two remakes from KC a few years back and they were $697 coated each. Yeah, I didnt studder:p

Now that was when shbm's were running $1200-$1800 thanks to Cobalt;):D

YOWZA!!!:foot: That's going to be hard for a lot of folks to swing if that's the case.....:o:(

Are these Battle Mistresses planned to feature the Nuclear Meltdown AND Light Brigade treatments?

There is no reason for pricing to be different than the last NM BM's.

THe ones above didnt-they were to original specs, but the NMSHBM is as you described.

I would agree with this mostly . THe only things I can think of that may factor in are:
1 it is a 20th Ann model
2 the light brigade Ibeam construction possibly takes more work and may cost more-Although this didnt seem to impact the TGLB.:)

So, as always it will depend on how much JWB the Boss has consumed on the day he un-veils the blades. Hopefully, its a lot;):D
