Aniversary mistresses 11.25 inch blade in length?

Assuming it's a skinny at .18" and 11+" long with LB treatment, it won't differ much from 1311 with .18" thick 13+" long with "sort of LB treatment because the handle are lighter than full tang". 1311 is light and fast in hand but it is not a good chopper, nor a great combat knife(it's too long and bulky), it excel as a machete to cut bushes and light vegetations. Given the traditions of BM line of knife, I'm wishing for 5/16" thick and 11+" long without LB treatment(not a fan).

well, I will fall out of my chair if that is the case:eek::D

cause I got these two remakes from KC a few years back and they were $697 coated each. Yeah, I didnt studder:p

Now that was when shbm's were running $1200-$1800 thanks to Cobalt;):D

The man has a point, Busse has taken care of the secondary market, new versions should be different enough and priced accordingly... I believe it was aaaa_cccc who mentioned something over 700 for the LE, and over 450 for CG. even if the turn out to be fantastic (highly desirable) and extremely limited, I bet they wont go much higher...a secondary market of 1000/ea is unsustainable, doesn´t matter how many collectors you have behind.

I failed to take into account the Nuclear Meltdown & Light Brigade treatments in my projected prices, probably will be at least $500 for the CG and $850 for the LE.

Either way these will likely be too rich for my blood, unfortunately.:grumpy:

I'm still anxious to see some pics, specs & pricing...... this should be a very popular model.

The 1311 is an amazing chopper. And not just for the weight, it will out chop everything short of a Zilla or MOAB, and even that is close.

you won't see a flat ground busse chopper at 0.18. They will never do it. But I could see as low as 0.22"

To my mind, full-height flat grind on .22" would be perfection. With the LB treatment, that setup might actually be faster than a B11. :D

A 0.22 thickness would be ideal:D. But there are those that will want super thick, so the compromise will be in the middle somewhere.

I was also thinking that .22 would be the best choice for this blade. I don't do 5/32".......:foot:

AMEN!

THat would be out of this world:cool:

I don't have too many long blade to compare to but out of what I have which are several HI khukri and a traditional parang it under perform but super good at cutting small branches. Haven't try the NMFSHCG yet.
