Just about 3 weeks left before the drawing (July 31).
Our donation to the Lungevity Foundation is currently @ $14,610.23. Thanks so much to those of you who have helped.

Right now, a single ticket purchaser has a one in 134 chance of winning this valuable knife. Only 200 tickets are available.
 
Just over a week left before the drawing July 31.

We have sold 139 of 200 tickets and our contribution the the Lungevity Foundation is now at $15,094.53. Has been slow the last couple weeks but the action always heats up around drawing time. We need to sell another 50 tickets to hit our goal of $20,000 for Lung Cancer Research.

Kevin, you must have been reading my mind.

I don't have the time this weekend to keep it going, but I would be happy to make the same deal as a couple of weekends ago. I will offer to match up to three raffle ticket purchases, made by non-CKCA members, if those raffle tickets are purchased no later than 4pm Sunday, July 25, 2010 - Pacific time.

The "match" means I spend my own money on my own tickets, when someone else buys. You'll need to keep track of the first three to buy and let me know. I will be in and out for this entire period, so can't monitor, and hope you will do so.

If you recall, I had to fully explain the details the last time, so if anyone needs clarification, it would be appreciated if you could supply it - since I will mostly not be around.

Please note one additional requirement to the above - anyone taking me up on this offer must announce himself/herself, in this thread, as doing so - in order to take advantage of this matching offer.

We have currently sold 145 of 200 tickets and our contribution to the Lungevity Foundation for Lung Cancer Research is currently $15,676.53.

We will need to cut off on-line tickets sales for this outstanding knife on Thursday night July 29th @ 9:00PM EST.

Until then, tickets can be purchased @:

Tickets will be available for sale from the CKCA Booth at the AG Russell Knife Event Show in Rogers AR from Friday morning July 30, up until the drawing for the knife on Saturday afternoon July 31, 2010.

The winner will be notified via telephone and/or e-mail shortly after the drawing.

I'm in there too finally. Been lusting for this knife and now its mine! (almost mine) Its a "WIN WIN" deal. The lungs we save may be my own.

Activity has definitely picked-up over the last 12 hours.

The folks at Lungevity are extremely excited and appreciative of what the custom knife community is doing here.

In addition to helping cancer research, these projects really present custom knife collecting in a very positive way to the general public.
 
Jonathan Piser's ticket # 64 was drawn as the winner of our 2010 CKCA Cancer Research Benefit Bowie this afternoon.

Jonathan is a collector from Chicago.
