Announcing the NEW 1500-181 Cigar Cutter!

Holy awesome man/pocket jewelry batman!!! But that price though!!! I guess I'll just go be poor somewhere else with my $12 cutter.
Pretty cool though.

Haha, I don't even smoke cigars and I still want one!

I wish, I can't even get my hands on one.

I gotta say it... For 1000 that better have perfect grind on that blade. Also I can make this for wayyyy cheaper. Why is it so expensive? Is it really low production numbers?

I wonder what’s up with the “New patent-pending Axis lock”? It seems to be located pretty far away from the pivot. As a poor non-smoker, that’s the most interesting thing about this release.

Premium materials, low quantity. Gold line level finishing.

Hmmm. I guess the blade is spring loaded and the axis lock holds the blade closed? Not familiar with these cutters...

Yep the blade is spring loaded like an auto and the axis lock keeps the blade closed.

That's pretty sweet! But I gotta say, I think you guys are smoking something other than cigars with that price tag... O_o

Maybe consider getting rid of the "bling", and offering a model for the plebeians for ~$100 or less. Might actually make more $$$ that way. ;)

In regards to the pricing~ I’m sorry but if you’re complaining about the prictag then it’s not for you. This is a collectors item and it’s marketed at a specific type of individual. This isn’t a product that’s intended to bring in mass amounts of revenue. Benchmade is a family owned company still and I don’t see anything wrong with making something nice just for the hell of doing it. You can say that Benchmade is out of their minds but the reality is that every single one of these will sell and they’ll end up selling for even more on the secondary collectors market.
