I've always liked the Bugout in concept, I just don't do bright colored knives. But I really like OD & black, so this one will eventually have a spot in my knife chest.

I have the Blue one, actually carrying it today. I pre-ordered one of these for a friend, and after looking more at it, ordered one for myself. I really like the look of this new variant.

Right now, my wallet is definitely wishing I'd stayed away a little longer!

I have to agree with this. The Bugout has a lot of features going for it, for me, blue wasn't one of them. This is much, much better.

This did make me think. The Noryl Grips and mini Grips are available standard in a few colours, I wonder where the sales of blue are in the list. I'd guess well behind black and tan. Less than orange and possibly pink but probably more than yellow?

I have the blue version and a second one with custom scales on order. I like the overall concept of this knife a lot. I'd buy yet another if it came out in M390.

1. Will first productions ship from both BM as well as Dealers?
2. When will they be available direct from BM?

Not what I or a lot of us were hoping for but I'm betting this is a step in the direction. Maybe some m390 or 20cv will be next. I for one am glad to see them expanding on this model as its perfect for edc imo.

It would be nice if BM allowed the Bugout to be “totally customizable.”

In addition to blade steel options, offer varying colors of:

• thumb stud
• scales
• clip
• blade coatings

The first productions will likely only be available from the dealers and probably about a month out on adding it to the site. We like our dealers to be able to have the initial orders.
