FYI - I pre-ordered from BladeHQ, this morning I asked about rough ETA, they claimed "a few months". That seems out of step from what you've mentioned here. Seems odd.

I bought an assisted once (on accident - the site description said manual). I think it was called the emissary. That spring loaded open was a surprise. In the end, even though I liked the design, it wasn’t beneficial for me, and I returned it. I assume there must be a decent sized customer base for them since there are several models.

2) non reflective even after wiping down with oil ( wiped off residual )

On a side note ... angles from which photos have been taken may give a different perception ... but the grind lines, centering, and lock up are spot on ! Very pleased with overal build of the knife. Good job BM !

The barrel spacers are anodized tan and Chromium Nitride has very low reflectivity.
