Another attempt to contact Mr. Mike Turber.

I am still waiting on Ebay to reply to my email asking why they were yanked. The last time it was because we had a link to a site which had a link to a site which sold autos... Oh well.

I am still waiting on lightlover's email address as well so I can handle that.

We have a great rating at Ebay. The only complaint we have can not be verified as these people never call. The guy on the check issue agrees his check was never cashed but never sent a replacement. I am sure JB knows what he did as he has always had his own issues and agenda :D

I just sent lightlover the following email....

Jan,

I have reviewed all the info and I apologize for all that has happened. I am getting you a Wave W/Nylon Sheath and a tool adapter. Please verify that your address is the same and I will get it out ASAP and I will track this order via global priority mail this time. I hope to get this right this time and make some sort of amends for all that you have gone through. I will even toss a little something extra in the box.

Please accept my apologies as this past year has been really rough and a lot of changes are now in place to prevent such things from happening again.

I'd never heard of 'WOW' was until I received what I took to be spam...

And, I don't know Mike Turber from Adam...

And, when I went and looked at the auctions, I saw what I just 'Knew' was too good to be true...and when that's the case, 99.7 percent of the time, it is...

And, when I went to WOW's ebay profile, the first thing I saw was a big freaking red 'negative'...and mention of three others, for a total of 4, outta 77 listed transactions...

And, then 'All' the auctions got pulled, not just the one I was watching...

And, I just sold a lot of my own personal cool 'stuff' to raise money for the Oregon show, so I'm being careful where I spend my money these days...

And, now I read all this 'stuff' here about other deals that 'never happened'...

And...I think you get the point by now, I hope.

Anyhoo, looking at my original post, it may look like a personal slam on Mike, but it wasn't...I don't know the guy. It most definitely was a slam on WOW, and seemed appropriate at the time.

I guess somebody should explain that Mike Turber, together with Spark, founded Bladeforums. Later he became occupied with other affairs and turned the forums over to Spark.... He hasn't been around much lately and I suppose some of the newer members don't know him.

In the course of running a forum and a wholesale knife business and being as active in the knife world as Mike is, enemies naturally appear; that's unavoidable. Frankly I'm surprised if they only posted four negatives at ebay ... probably most of the trolls haven't noticed the auction yet. I bet I could get more than four myself. :)

Actually I have been getting announcements from WOW for quite awhile now. I never considered them to be spam. I never signed up for them, but that's OK, I like receiving emails about knife deals.

Actually Cougar, eBay doesn't work that way. Only parties that have been involved in transactions may post feedback.

Well, it's now a month later and nothing yet.

Your package is on it's way. I had to get the Wave's tool adapter from a local dealer who was out. You can verify this by calling Danny at 888 Knives R Us.
