Thats what I said! It seems like whenever they come out with a new exclusive its like...holy crap, they read my mind.

^ I've been trying extremely hard to limit my knife collection to under 8 so that means I'll have to sell off another knife. The carbon fiber handles and blue anodized standoffs really got me... and the $150 price tag was the knock out punch. I would've been the illogical one to pass this one up!

Also I should say I hate coatings, and Benchmades BK coating isn't even among the best (the diamond coatings from other manufacturers are better), BUT in this case I'm fine with it as D2 really does rust/patina if uncoated in a humid environment. One of the few cases where I do see an advantage with a coating.

I have several knives in D2 and the only one with patina is the one I've cut fruit with. One I've left in its leather sheath for a year and it has 0 rust or patina. D2 is practically stainless.

I really wanted BM to make a mini onslaught in either M4 or M390. It's prolly even farther out of reach now

IMO it's a shame to bury that beautiful FFG under oxide coating :barf: At least they coulda went with glossy dark TiCN over a polished blade.

It might be due to the lack of awareness, tbh. I put the order in the moment I saw it go up for sale since I was worried they'd run out. I'm not sure how quickly things sell out, but I remember the green para2's were gone in a few days. As for this one, googling it, I only found this thread. I was trying to find some more info on the run, and I kept seeing things for the limited shot show run, but nothing about this one. I'm hoping they update the knife listing a little bit with some info (how many knives are in this run, mainly, and if its an exclusive or a limited run, or both).

According to the Benchmade forums, where this knife was originally announced, it is being limited to 300 pieces. Not sure if anything else was disclosed besides that.

I honestly hope its black.. the clip on my Shot Show edition is just awful.. i dont know what they were thinking.. im having Kershaw Junkyard Dog flashbacks again..

I saw this one and jumped on it quick. I was close to buying the SHOT show one but for $50 less AND a coated blade. Im so glad I saw this one. Cant wait to get it.
