Another Christmas Opinel modified FINAL PICS

Exceptional Mod.
The antler is beautiful, but that shape you have achieved would also compliment the lines of this knife if done in a fancy wood as well!
Congrats on that one!

That may be the nicest upgrade I've ever seen. Looks great. Did an ancestor shoot that moose?

Hi Robb
No, an antique picker friend of mine bought it off a porch in PEI and then gave it to me. The old woman he bought it from told him it had been hanging on the porch for 90 years.
Thanks for the kind comment.

Best regards

Robin

Moosinel! :D

I have to say that's among the nicest custom Opis I've ever seen. Exceptional work!

wonderful modification and a great choice of material making this knife a unique one. The pocket sheath looks also great.

Very, very nice Robin and not just the beautiful handle but the lanyard and sheath complete the package nicely!

The thought put into choosing materials really shows, this is a beautiful knife and sheath set. Very well done :thumbup:.

Thanks for the reply. Really, really nice piece of antler. Lots of history there. Looks so much better weather worn, too.

That's alright Robin! Just a little over 24 hours ago I lightly modifed my #8 nothing major and not refinished like my #7. I think it took me less then 30 minutes and I'm quite pleased with the result. Like the others mentioned the antler looks really nice!
