Andrew, this is from the same block as what I used on your baby bowie. I split the wood in half and used one piece for your knife and the other piece on this one. I like working with cocobolo because it's hard and durable and easy to finish. Also because my supplier is about 5 min away so it's real easy for me to get it.

I really like the way you shape the handles of your knives, very distinctive. I still plan on getting one of your Baby Bowies as soon as I can set aside some funds. Great work!

I'm glad I got some of it!

The pouch sheath you sent with the Wharncliff knife is great. Really good leather, well designed and made.

Great looking knife, it would have to be bigger for me to own it. Look forward to seeing what your going to make this year Ray!

I received this knife today. I am impressed. First, the handle is really beautiful with very nice figure and feels good. Fit is very well done and the brass guard looks great. Blade grind is excellent! Nice even look on both sides and first class satin finish. Sheath holds the knife securely even when held upside down. I will buy another knife from Ray as funds permit. Thanks Ray! Happy camper here.:)
