I received this today. It was rolled up and looked like a large dog bone. Inside was a Master Series 532, I couldn't believe it. The seller shipped this from Hawaii and charged me 15$, although the shipping label clearly says $7.53. The envelope is a used one for whatever he got from the jungle. I contacted him about his packaging and shipping charge. He apologized, said he recycles and refunded me the entire shipping cost. I can't believe the knife made it from Hawaii and the only damage is a slight crush mark on the bottom of the box...

I had a guy send me a full tang spike hawk, (Swamp Rat Rattle hawk) in one of those envelopes. No sheath. Sharpened beard, edge, spike, and top edge. Nearly 360° of sharpened steel. Bag looked like Wolvereine had fought its way out.

My mail lady handed it to me, not noticing 3 inches of sharp steel ready to hook her exposed wrist.

No blade cover, just a piece of rubber held on with a strand of scotch tape ( which had already committed suicide before that package left the original post office, guaranteed)

$300 or so axe.

Having spent over thirty five years of my life delivering mail. many times I came close to getting cut from people mailing a large fixed blade knife in a large envelope or mailing bag.

It is very frustrating. Not a knife and not ebay, but here is a package I received the other day and its content.
