The package handling routine is something to see. At a USPS sorting center, the boxes were dumped into a big pile which was continually being added to. As I watched the routine, I understood why often times my packages come fairly well smooshed.
A person had 5 or 6 of those big cloth baskets arrayed in front of them. They would pick up a box, look at the label, then lob it into the appropriate basket. As fast as they could go. Lots of boxes to sort.

I bought used knives from a guy that lived in a small fishing camp in a deep part of Alaska.
I had traking and if it actually worked i would have seen 5 mile snow shoe dilevery to sled dog to jeep to bush pilot to Ancorage distibution center. Took 3 weeks to get it as i recall with tracking that just said enroute to destination after 2weeks.
