I would take my Gossman Kephart or Gossman Tusker. Both are great knives, 5" blades, A2 steel. Probably the Tusker, grippier micarta scales. Not as pretty as the Kephart .

Small enough yet large enough to do just about anything. I've prepared food, made tinder, split logs, chopped, etc... with it. Does anything and is light enough to have on you all day.
