So last summer I was killing Goat Heads (totally hate these things) with my Random Stonewashed 14c28 Leek when I broke the tip. :grumpy:

So I ground it down so it looked kind of "Random-ly" and sharpened it back up and kept using it. Well a while ago I started thinking about it and emailed Kershaw to ask about putting a S30V blade on it and how much would it cost... They told me to send it in, which I did. More than a month went by and no knife. I know these guys better than that, so emailed my question. What's up?

Turns out some where my address got screwed up (my fault or theirs we don't know) and someone else has my knife. :grumpy:
Well Kershaw stood up to their usual good service and they're sending me a replacement of my choice.

Gotta love these guys. Buy Kershaw, you'll like 'em.

Gotta love these stories... really makes you wish some companies in other industries went so far to make customers happy..

Customer Service is the hallmark of ALL Great companies.
I have several similar KERSHAW stories I could relate, but would just be an echo to
yours RNR .... they are a tremendous company. ATABOY !!

Always reassuring to hear stories like this! Good to know how a company treats its customers, and how it stands by its products.

I've had nothing but fantastic service from Kershaw.

Their CS is known for being top notch.
They even stock replacement parts for most discontinued items. (Random Task parts being the exception) :)
They'll bend over backwards to help you out and even pay shipping back to you.

A few months ago I emailed for a replacement clip and screws. Within 4 days I had them in hand.

I use to have a skyline that have a piviot screw problem, I send it to them, they send back a new one. You can't ask for any more than that.

I've only had one dealing with Kershaw's customer service, and I received free screws for my RAM ( I asked for some replacement t-6s and ended up receiving a complete set  ) and I also asked if they didn't mind to send a catalog along with the screws. Received both not too long after the initial email. Amazing CS

I've called and asked for a few new clips because the ones on the knives I had were kinda scratched up. They sent me 2 for each knife, along with new screws. Oregon to VA in about 4 days.

Doesn't get any better than that!

4 days eh? Takes me a whopping 5 days to get my new stuff from Kershaw :p

But really Kershaw customer service is out of this world, I asked for a new clip for my Blur and they gave me like a whole screw set for the knife :D

How are they on replacing handle scales?

I'm interested in getting a coyote or black G10 scale on my ZT0301 instead of keeping the foliage green one on.

Hear hear !

Not trying to make anyone pout but Kershaw's warranty and CS is the best I have ever dealt with in or out of the knife world and I sincerely mean that.

They go way beyond what they 'have' to do for their customers which is why my last six new knife purchaces have been Kershaws.

I hope someone from Kershaw can see these threads because they deserve to be kudos'd a thoudand times over.

Tostig
