After much research I finally decided on my new travel companion. This is only my 2nd "custom", but something about this knive just "spoke" to me. Love the simplicity of design, everything you need and nothing you dont. Anyway on to the pictures.

Would like to say thanks Ray, I will be showing off and referring your knives to anyone who will listen up and down the trails of N. Ga/W Carolina's.
Thanks forum members for causing such a stir about this knive that led me to it in the 1st place. Alot of good info here for sure. Happy hiking
 
Ray is definitely on my short list of custom makers for users. You are right about them being clean, simple designs. Something about them. It is a very very rare occasion that i see one made by him that I don't absolutely love.

:( Mine is pride and prejudice. Every time she makes me watch it, I make her watch a Godzilla movie. problem is that there are over 28 Godzilla movies and one good pride and prejudice.

For those who have never held a HWK, you will not believe how good the handle feels. A little bigger than usual but a perfect fit for me.

The only thing I worry about is that the handle looks pretty square from the pics I've seen. Don't get me wrong, it looks GREAT and I love the lines, but is it comfortable for extended use? Are the edges on the handle a little rounded? I need to go dig up some in-hand pics....

If you look close, they are perfectly rounded out:thumbup:

Haha, I just went looking up pics of your Blue HWK Tonym, thanks! :thumbup: :thumbup: It does look good; I really want to handle one sometime soon.
