Another new ZT Blade debut...

I think I like this knife best out of all three new knives. It just screams to me.

Weird though, I didn't realize ZT designers were a bunch of Satanists, because this new design is pure evil, perfected.

That's the kind of knife the Gov't wants to take away from us, and that's why I want one.

I think it's better looking than the 0777, hands down. it's not so gaudy. The only thing is, i wish you guys would make some smaller knives. I already get weird looks when i carry my 0550 around :) Could you give us some measurements of the blade and handle? Thats what is really gonna be the deciding factor in whether i buy it or not: a carry-able size. Also, any expected release date?

Judging from the pictures on page 3 with this knife, http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/956425-Too-big-too-strong-too-hard the blade length is at least 4". The release date question was answered in Thomas's first post.

What kind of finish gives that graphite color/texture on the handle and blade? It really does look slick. Also pretty neat that the blade is sterile and ZT's engraved the backspacer instead.

This is one sleek blade... come on, people! Now I want to give ZT a try, my wallet is not happy with me :p

Dammit! I had hoped the third one was ugly...*sigh* another Kershaw/ZT to add to the must have list...

Not really like the 0777...

Agreed but to me this looks like a distant cousin to the original Speedform but more beefy, curvy and stealthy. Full figured stealthy? The sculpted lines running handle through blade, along with that clip, really make this design a standout for me. The curves and sculpting are perfect against the monochrome coloring. :D This just begs to be left naked of laser etching, period. Given that the handle is even larger than the 0777 it is sure to fit my hand very comfortably. :) With all those pluses I can forgive that "little" 3.8" or so blade.

I will have to give serious thought to this one as it will add nicely to some of my other ZT/Kershaw stuff.

While this is at the bottom of the 'ZTs-to-buy' list for me, it is very interesting...

Do we know if this is going to be regular production? I assume this one is and the Collab is not?

OMFG is what I said out loud with the RJ colab and the other newb side by side. Those are damned sweet! DAMN FINE JOB TW!

I like it!

Really bummed I won't be there to fondle everything first hand this year. Have a good show buddy.

Oh my goodness that is just evil looking beauty! Damn I really like that, the double finger choil is nice. That part reminds me of Jens Rock Lobster choil-wise...

Steel is Carpenter's Micro-Melt Maxamet... RC 68-69

Well you followed through with your promise. It's a new cool steel. Never heard of it before.

That amount of tungsten and cobalt with a good amount of vanadium and the super hardness sound excellent.

We all hope a lot of orders get placed through Blade show and KAI should be in the running for more than just one award this year. Good luck and have fun.

Thanks for the on the road updates, it lets the rest of us who didn't go live vicariously.

WOW, CTS Micro-melt Maxamet at RC 68-69.

Wonder if this steel would even has better edge retention than S110V.

This possibly the highest price model among the new 3.
