I suppose it is, since in my post I said, "I'm interested at $100 plus $8 for UPS or FedEx shipping. I don't see what material the steel is, though...?

How much have you thinned it out? I only ask because my preference for smaller kitchen knives is about as thin as it can get.
By the way, I would like to mention that I think the handle offset from the blade is a pretty good idea for a kitchen knife. I have often smacked my knuckles using poorly-designed knives. This one looks pretty good to me. I like the lines of the handle and the shape of the blade.
Maybe I missed it, but what's the handle made of?
